Driving a function room from a calendar
Use an Outlook/365 meeting-room calendar to heat an event space automatically.
- In Outlook / Microsoft 365, publish the meeting-room (resource) calendar and copy its iCal link.
- Add the function room as a room in the console.
- Add a calendar link to it and paste the 365 iCal URL.
- Set an event comfort temperature and a generous preheat so the room is warm as guests arrive.
Now every meeting booked in Outlook warms the room on its own — no one has to remember to switch the heating on.
