A room won't get up to temperature

Common reasons a room stays cooler than its target.

• Valve stuck or blocked — check the radiator valve moves freely and isn't hidden behind furniture, curtains or bedding.
• Window open near the valve or sensor will fight the heating.
• Boiler / heating off — make sure the property's heating is running and the room's control is calling for heat.
• Cold day, big room — function rooms and large suites need a longer lead; start earlier.
